Valley view is set at the very edge of Chagford and enjoys far reaching views across the Teign valley. It is located only about 350 meters walk to the town square where there is a wide variety of day to day and specialist shops, cafes and pubs. Chagford has a Primary school, pre school and Montessori, a library and surgeries for doctor, dentist and vet. There is a Parish Church, Roman Catholic Church and a chapel. The town is surrounded by countryside, riverside and moorland walks and there are good sports facilities with a football and cricket pitch, a tennis club, bowling club, a skate park, children's play park and an open air swimming pool in the summertime. The A30 dual carriageway is only about 5 miles away and Exeter is approximately 20 miles.

Directions

From Fowlers on foot. Turn right out of Fowlers double doors and walk down The Square passing Black's delicatessen, the gallery and the Old Forge Caffe. This leads into Southecombe street which becomes Lower Street. Where Lower street narrows on the left there is a lane which is signposted to the Roman Catholic church. Take this lane and then take the first left into Valley View. At the very end of Valley View on the left is the driveway to No.4.
