Rock Cottage and its annexe are situated a short way along New Street just a hundred and fifty metres level walk to the bustling town square and closer to the doctor's surgery and Parish church. Chagford has a wide variety of day to day and specialist shops, pubs, a Parish church, Roman Catholic church and chapel, a library and surgeries for doctor, dentist and vet.
