The Old Post House is a charming and spacious listed home which has been in the same family since 1907, a mainly thatched roof and which was rethatched in 2017. It dates from the 16th Century and is thought to have been an Open Hall House originally, according to the listing. It has generous accommodation throughout with four reception rooms, a through hall, a kitchen/breakfast room, an office/utility room and a w.c. on the ground floor. Upstairs there are five bedrooms and a large bathroom which also has a shower. As the name suggests, it was formally a house and Post Office but it is now fully residential. At the rear is a large extension to the property built in 1979 and a delightful garden with a cottage garden, a formal garden and a large vegetable and flower garden. The barn/store has previously had planning (now expired) to convert to an annexe and there is a driveway parking space and a single garage. Fowlers strongly recommend viewing this super property to fully appreciate all it has to offer.
